Statue of the goddess Wadjyt
On the back and sides of the throne are engraved representations of the Nile gods at the scene of "Uniting the Two Lands", the goddess Wadjyt and 'souls' of Nekhen and Pe. The inscriptions include cartouches of Apries and the dedication by one Pwawa. Bronze, eyes gilded H. 87 cm Twenty-sixth Dynasty, reign of Apries, c. 580 B.C. No. 11867. |
