The pan is a water vessel. Pan are relatively uncommon because water did not play as important a role as wine in funeral rituals.
Nao (Bell) [V-228]

Early Western Zhou dynasty (ca. 1100-771 BC)
Nao bells were installed on their shanks with the mouth of the bell facing upwards. They were played by being struck from the outside. There was no interior clapper. Music played an important part in court ceremonies and graduated sets of bells have been excavated from noble tombs. The inscription on one side of this bell was added at a much later date, and may be modern.
